Community funding grants now open

The funding provides the opportunity for community organisations to obtain financial support for events, activities and projects.

“This funding is a great opportunity for local organisations to receive assistance for the wonderful work they do,” Mayor Tracey Roberts said.

The funding supports community-driven place strengthening projects, programs, activities or events organised from July 2016 within the City of Wanneroo that benefit residents.

Community Development Funding and Community Event Funding are the two categories open for funding.

Incorporated and insured community groups, clubs and organisations are eligible to apply. Unincorporated and uninsured community groups with a place strengthening idea are strongly encouraged to explore a partnership approach with an eligible group, club or organisation.
