City of Wanneroo to offer CCTV subsidies
Published Friday, 2nd August 2024
City of Wanneroo residents and businesses can apply for a rebate of up to $500 to subsidise the cost of purchasing and installing a new CCTV system.
CCTV in public spaces can act as an effective deterrent to potential offenders, while collecting vital evidence to support investigations by the City or WA Police.
The City’s CCTV subsidy program will provide rebates to residents and business owners who install and maintain eligible CCTV systems at their private residence or business, with a view of a road, footpath, front verge or other public areas, to assist WA Police with investigations.
Applications for the 2024/25 CCTV Rebate Scheme will open on Monday 5 August 2024.
Find out more on the CCTV Rebate Scheme page.
