Variation to Prohibited Burning Period - Extended 1 April - 14 April 2025
Due to seasonal conditions, the City of Wanneroo has extended its Prohibited Burning Period until 14 April 2025 inclusive. No Permits to burn will be issued prior to this date.

Dog and cat owners should make sure their pet's annual registration is renewed by 1 November.
The registration period runs from 1 November to 31 October.
All dogs over the age of three months must be registered, and wear both a registration tag and disc showing the owner’s name and address.
Similarly, all cats 6 months and over must be registered and wear a registration tag.
As of 1 November 2015 all dogs and cats must also be microchipped prior to the renewal of their registration.
Owners of unregistered cats and dogs can incur a $200 on the spot fine.
Completed application forms must be posted to the City's postal address.
The City must also be notified in writing about any change of address or ownership so registration records can be kept up to date.
