National NAIDOC Week

Grow your understanding of First Nations cultures and histories through a range of free activities held in the City of Wanneroo to commemorate National NAIDOC Week.
National NAIDOC Week (7 – 14 July) celebrates and recognises the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Join us for a range of events in the City including:
- Noongar photography exhibition
- Welcome to Country exhibition, focused on celebrating and elevating Noongar voices, culture and creativity.
- Noongar Storytime with Rickeeta Walley
- Noongar singing masterclass
- NAIDOC Week tree planting session
The City is also proud to host an official ceremony raising the Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Australian flags.
