Beach Wheelchair Booking Information

You can sign in to your website account to amend or cancel your booking online. If you don't have an account, click here to register.

Completing this form without signing in means you will not be able to amend or cancel your booking online.  However, you can still do this by calling Community Development on 9405 5600.

Beach Wheelchair Booking Agreement 

An online booking cannot be finalised until the person completing the booking form indicates their agreement to the points below: 

  • The Sandcruiser® is designed to be used on the sand, grass and pathways. Please do not enter the Sandcruiser® into the water due to safety reasons
  • I have viewed the site map and understand the location of the Beach Wheelchair and key collection process. 
  • The user assumes all risk of injury and damage arising from the use of the Beach Wheelchair. The City of Wanneroo accepts no liability to the extent permitted by law. 
  • I will not hold the City of Wanneroo accountable against any claims directly or indirectly arising from or incurred in connection with damage to or loss of property, or injury, arising from the use of the Beach Wheelchair whilst in my care. 
  • To treat the Beach Wheelchair with care, and return it undamaged and fully functional. 
  • Report any damage and maintenance to the City of Wanneroo.  
  • To rinse the Beach Wheelchair with water after use and supply my own anti-bacterial wipes to wipe down the surfaces on the Chair. 
  • The Beach Wheelchair is NOT to enter the water. Submerging of the wheelchair in water is NOT allowed.  
  • The Beach Wheelchair is not self-propelled and can only be used with a support person who can push and guide the Chair. 
  • The Beach Wheelchair must not be left unattended or unsecured.
