Quinns Rocks Caravan Park Redevelopment

Project update 

At the Special Council Meeting on 1 August 2023, Wanneroo Council voted to proceed with negotiations for the development of an ecotourism, café and event space at the former Quinns Rocks Caravan Park site.

The negotiations have progressed and the proposed agreement for lease and ground lease at part of Lot 211 (2) Quinns Road, Mindarie was advertised by a notice under section 3.58 of the Local Government Act from 2 to 16 November 2023.

The proposed agreement for lease and ground lease for the redevelopment of the former Quinns Rocks Caravan Park will be discussed at the upcoming Wanneroo Council Briefing Session on Tuesday 5 December and at the Ordinary Meeting on Tuesday 12 December. Based on community feedback the City has negotiated the lease for the proposed development to include community access to:

• Approximately 1,500m² of lawn and open space
• Accessible café
• Shaded outdoor seating.
