City applies for community sporting and recreation funding

Six sporting projects have been submitted by the City of Wanneroo for funding from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
Applications were submitted for a total of $1.67 million in funds, to assist in building new sporting facilities and providing floodlighting and oval extensions.
The funding requests were made to the Community Sport and Recreation Facility Fund (CSRFF), with one third of total estimated project costs having the potential to be funded, to a maximum of $2 million.
The funding requests are for the following proposed projects:
