Free outdoor cinema a roaring success

The City of Wanneroo’s ‘Live in the Amphitheatre, presented by Jindee’ has delighted residents who enjoyed a variety of films throughout January and February.
Throughout the season, over 5,000 locals attended the City’s Jacaranda Amphitheatre for a relaxed evening under the stars.
This year’s extended movie program was a hit with residents who were entertained with a variety of blockbuster, family friendly, action and comedy flicks.
Children were glued to the big screen with popular movies Minions, Zootopia and Finding Dory and adults enjoyed a night out with hit films The Revenant and Bad Moms.]
Seniors were collected from nearby homes and treated to VIP tickets to watch Last Cab to Darwin and He’s Just Not That In To You.
Children were entertained with fun games and colouring in competitions from Jindee, who also provided free popcorn to guests along with VIP experiences that included lounges and gift bags.
Select screenings had pre-show entertainment provided by talented acoustic singer and guitarist Kurt Carrera and children were treated to face painting, storytelling and craft activities.

Tickets will be released to residents at 9am Monday 20 February. General Public tickets 9am Friday 3 March.
