Sizzling outdoor cinema series returns

Take advantage of warm summer nights by enjoying a free outdoor movie at the City of Wanneroo’s Live in the Amphitheatre, presented by Jindee.
Due to the overwhelming success of this year’s event, the program for 2017 has been extended to eight weeks throughout January and February.
Held under the stars in the City's own Jacaranda Amphitheatre, the star studded line-up will feature a mix of blockbuster, family friendly, action and comedy flicks on the big screen.
There’s something for everyone in January’s stellar program. Stay on the edge of your seat with psychological thriller Shutter Island on Friday 13 or celebrate Australia Day with the iconic Last Cab to Darwin set in the spectacular Aussie outback.
The little ones will roar watching family animation The Good Dinosaur on Saturday 7 and they will sing to their heart’s content with musical classic Frozen on Saturday 28.
Stay tuned for February’s line-up, to be released early in the New Year.
Don’t miss out on the pre-show vibes with surprise activities planned at select screenings including face painting and live music.
Tasty treats like gourmet popcorn will be available or you can pack a picnic, kick back and relax under the stars to watch your favourite film.
Screenings are FREE, but tickets and ID proof to show you are a City of Wanneroo resident are essential. There is a maximum of four adult tickets per email address.
Gates open from 6pm with screenings starting at approximately 7.30pm when the sun sets.
The first round of tickets will be available exclusively to City of Wanneroo residents from 9am Monday, 12 December 2016.
