Koondoola Family Fun Day

Celebrations will include children’s activities, face painting, bouncy castle, petting zoo and a free sausage sizzle. There will also be stalls providing information on community services
provided in the Koondoola-Girrawheen area.

Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts said it was a great opportunity for local residents to discover more about this fantastic new $3.4 million community facility.

“The new Koondoola Community Centre caters for an array of different community groups, hosting everything from calisthenics to the Vietnamese Seniors Club,” Mayor Roberts said.

“With function space, activity room, meeting room, office, kitchen, canteen, storage facilities and change-rooms, this is a brilliant community centre that is a true multi-purpose space.”

The community centre opened to the public earlier this year.
