Chart topping Melbourne-based indie rock band British India announced to headline annual City of Wanneroo Presents Concert on 5 November.
British India is one of Australia’s best known bands across our radio airwaves, with four ARIA Top 10 Albums and 16 single releases. They have performed at every major festival across the country and each year, continue to sell out their high-octane shows and produce exciting new music.
Mayor Tracey Roberts said the free concert was a great opportunity for the community to enjoy first class entertainment at local venue for free.
“British India are an incredibly talented band who have successfully toured the country multiple times and have opened for the Rolling Stones. We are very excited to welcome them to the City,” Mayor Roberts said.
“The City’s annual concert gives families the opportunity to create lasting memories,” she said.
“Families can also indulge in a range of delicious offerings from Perth’s best mobile food trucks or pack a picnic and enjoy quality entertainment under the stars.
“Tickets sell out fast so don’t miss out on treating your family to a fantastic night out.”
This year’s epic support line-up will be announced later this month. Make sure you like the City’s Facebook page to keep up to date with event announcements including food vendors, support acts and ticketing reminders
Tickets are FREE but essential and will be available exclusively to the City of Wanneroo residents from 9am Monday 3 October. Any remaining tickets will open to those who live outside of the City from 9am Monday 17 October.
