Variation to Prohibited Burning Period - Extended 1 April - 14 April 2025
Due to seasonal conditions, the City of Wanneroo has extended its Prohibited Burning Period until 14 April 2025 inclusive. No Permits to burn will be issued prior to this date.

The latest details on the Mitchell Freeway Extension for July, including night and Sunday works, traffic impacts and lane closures.
The month of July sees works continue on the freeway alignment between Burns Beach Road and Hester Avenue and earthworks on freeway on & off-ramps at Burns Beach Road are scheduled to continue until August.
Other highlights are:
- Road alignment, bridge construction, construction of retaining walls and shared bus/pedestrian underpass on Neerabup Road
- Speed limit reduction along Hester Avenue. Traffic relocated onto new sections of Hester Avenue.
- Works on new Flynn Drive alignment. Speed limit reduction between Flynn Drive and north of Hall Road.
