Makeover for Fisherman’s Hollow
Published Thursday, 7th April 2016
Public facilities at Fisherman’s Hollow in Yanchep will receive a makeover this year.
The City originally planned to demolish the existing facilities and construct a new toilet block.
However construction tenders were much greater than anticipated so the City has determined that a renovation of the current facility will be the most cost effective solution for the community.
All of the important aspects of the upgrade will remain, including new roofing, baby change facilities, one additional cubicle, a new unisex accessible toilet, and an overall upgrade of the finishes. The existing mosaic artwork will also remain.
The facility will continue to provide a much needed amenity for the Yanchep area.
The tender process for the renovation will commence shortly and work is expected to be completed by December this year.
