Survey following trial of free tennis court use
Published Thursday, 17th December 2015
The City of Wanneroo is calling for local residents to participate in a survey to determine whether the tennis courts in the City should remain free to use.
Since January, the tennis courts at Koondoola Park, Bellport, Spinifex Park, Kingsbridge Park, Delamare Park, Wanneroo Showgrounds and Hudson Park have been free of charge under a trial.
The City has been taking tennis court bookings from residents, exempting them from all fees and charges, under the trial. Gates were also left unlocked at these courts to allow for the free use.
Following the 12 month trial, the City of Wanneroo is calling on residents to give their feedback via an online survey.
The results from the survey will be presented to the Council at a meeting early next year and will help to determine the future use of tennis courts across the City.
Feedback from those living within our community is important to the City and it would be appreciated if those who participated in the free tennis court use, and other interested parties, could set aside two minutes to complete the survey.
Residents can find the survey and more information online. The survey will close on 31 January 2016.
