Mayor Tracey Roberts said the fabulous free event honours the classics of the 1950s to 1970s.

“Retro Rewind featuring The Vintage Collective Markets is a joyful celebration of all things vintage, an opportunity to look back and reflect on a bygone era,” Mayor Roberts said.

“I am so excited to be partnering with The Vintage Collective Markets. Visitors will not only listen to live retro tunes but see a fabulous vintage fashion parade and experience all things retro.

“This fantastic family friendly event in the tranquil setting of Yanchep National Park offers music, activities, vintage markets and displays which will bring back many happy memories - whatever your age, the event will be lots of fun.”

The Vintage Collective Markets director Michelle Kolk said a variety of stall holders would make the trip to Yanchep from all over Perth to deliver truly unique wares.

“We are a bunch of true rockabilly vintage loving people bringing our passion for vintage and retro to the City of Wanneroo community,” she said.

“Some of our vendors are closing down stalls in Fremantle and Midland just for this event so it is truly not to be missed.”

Visitors will be able to browse and enjoy 60 stalls, plus activities and even treat themselves to a cut or shave at a special event barber shop. The Vintage Collective Markets will host a stunning vintage fashion parade.

A collection of American and classic hot rods is also not to be missed.  Expressions of interest are being sought for the hot rod display – hot rods, pre 1960, customs and American classics.

Space limitations mean only 50 cars can take part, so owners are encouraged to lodge expressions of interest quickly to be part of this extremely popular event.  The display will be coordinated by Goodfellas Hot Rod Club.

The event is free and park entry fees will be waived for event attendees.
