Variation to Prohibited Burning Period - Extended 1 April - 14 April 2025
Due to seasonal conditions, the City of Wanneroo has extended its Prohibited Burning Period until 14 April 2025 inclusive. No Permits to burn will be issued prior to this date.
Mitchell Freeway Extension Update - late October 2015

Major construction works are underway to extend Mitchell Freeway six kilometres north to Hester Avenue in Clarkson.
The latest information is available on the Mitchell Freeway extension from Burns Beach Road to Hester Avenue. Significant earthworks are underway and will continue into 2016 as 3.5 million tonnes of material will be relocated by project completion.
