Help make the City of Wanneroo a more inclusive and accessible place to live for people of all abilities by completing a survey.
The City’s draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2016–2019 is designed to ensure all people in the City have equal access to facilities, services, events, information and employment.
“The plan is a product of extensive community engagement and the City of Wanneroo’s commitment to inclusive connected communities,” she said.
“The City encourages the participation of all community members through practical strategies, designed to address barriers that people with disabilities may experience when needing to access our City’s services and programs.”
The survey results will provide the City with valuable information for improved access in the community.
The Centre for Cerebral Palsy, Disability Service Commission, Independent Living Centre, Uniting Care West and Edge Employment Services will be engaged during the consultation period. You can submit your comment via the City’s website, on Facebook, at any of the City’s libraries and at the Wanneroo Civic Centre until 18 September.
