Children and the young at heart are welcome at the City of Wanneroo's biggest LEGO® display and play space on 2 August.
Although specialised workshops are already booked out, the free exhibition features a ‘brickpit’ with 12,000 LEGO bricks and DUPLO® as well as other free activities from 10am to 4pm that do not require a booking.
Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts said the Wanneroo Regional Museum was thrilled at the early interest in the event.
“The Wanneroo Regional Museum as well as the City’s Libraries teams are always looking for new and exciting ways to provide great activities and entertainment for local children and residents,” she said.
“Make sure you go down to the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre to see the fantastic LEGO models by some of Perth’s finest LEGO enthusiasts.”
The free event will open 10am to 4pm on Sunday 2 August at the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre, 3 Rocca Way, Wanneroo.
Clarkson Library ran its first LEGO club this week with transport and building themed activities for all ages.
