An Electors’ Special Meeting will be held on Wednesday, 16 March 2022 commencing at 6.00pm at the Civic Centre, 23 Dundebar Road, Wanneroo.

In accordance with Section 5.28 of the Local Government Act 1995, electors of the City of Wanneroo have requested that an Electors’ Special Meeting be held to consider the following:
- the effect of mandatory vaccination on electors, ratepayers, residents and business in the district;
- the effect of mandatory vaccination on the local government’s affairs and the performance of local government’s functions; and
- motions to be voted on for an advocacy position against mandatory vaccination for the Council to consider adopting to provide leadership and guidance to the community in the district.
The Electors’ Special Meeting will be held at 6:00pm on Wednesday, 16 March 2022 in Council Chambers, Civic Centre, 23 Dundebar Road, Wanneroo.
Attendees who are verified electors of the City of Wanneroo will be provided first priority to access the Council Chamber, subject to seating capacity. Attendees who are not verified electors of the City of Wanneroo will be required to remain in designated overflow areas unless there is sufficient capacity in the Council Chamber.
Onsite registration for electors who wish to attend the meeting starts at 5:30pm. Please arrive early at the Civic Centre to ensure you can participate in this meeting.

The Procedure for the meeting will be published in the Agenda of the meeting on the City of Wanneroo website by no later than the Friday prior to the meeting. Electors are encouraged to read the Procedure prior to attending as it includes important information about attendance and participation in the meeting.
Motions to the meeting are required to be submitted using the City’s online form by 12noon on the day of the meeting. COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
Attendees must abide by current State Government COVID-19 requirements, including adhering to the 2sqm rule, mask-wearing and checking in with the SafeWA smartphone app, or manually registering their contact details upon entering the City of Wanneroo Administration building and Council Chamber.
