Get set for a dog’s day out
Published Thursday, 5th September 2019
The City of Wanneroo’s ultimate pooch extravaganza, Dog’s Breakfast is back for another year.
Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex will be a flurry of four-legged furry friends on Sunday, 6 October from 9am – 1pm.
You would be barking mad to miss it, with everything from free vet checks to fun competitions, and a load of exhibitors to visit.
Get your furry friend looking their best with the washing and grooming services on offer, then strike a pose in the fur-friendly photo booth.
Give your dog a run through the agility course, or get a caricature sketched for a lasting keepsake.
City of Wanneroo Rangers will be on site to answer any queries, and you will be able to renew your dog registration with the friendly Customer Service Centre team (Eftpos only).
There will also be a range of food on offer for humans and canines alike!
Mayor Tracey Roberts said this was one of her favourite events on the City of Wanneroo events calendar.
“There’s no doubt Dog’s Breakfast is a great day out, and I can’t wait to see families enjoying time with their much loved pooches,” Mayor Tracey Roberts said.
“This is a free event that truly has something for the entire family - including the dogs!.”
Please note that we encourage you to come along with your canine pals, but dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times during the event.
And naturally, all other pets – including cats – should be left safe and sound at home.
A full program of event activities, demonstrations and more will be released shortly, so stay tuned.
You will also find more information on the entire 2019/20 City of Wanneroo Event Season.
