Kingsway Indoor Stadium - School Holiday Program – Parent Information

Introduction

The Kingsway Indoor Stadium Team looks forward to providing your child with a fun-filled time this school holiday period. We have provided the below information to assist you in keeping your child in a fun and safe environment. We ask you to read the below to ensure your child is ready for the program ahead, allowing a smooth transition from school into our active sports clinics and programs.

Sign in and out procedure

There is zero tolerance for failure to comply with this sign in and out procedure.
You can only sign your child in within 10 minutes of the program starting and when there is a coach (or designated staff member) present to sign your child in.
You must notify staff in writing via email at kingswayindoorstadium@wanneroo.wa.gov.au if you approve another adult to sign your child in or out. You will also need to note the new sign out arrangement on the attendance sheet on the day. - Failure to give advance notice of another parent picking up the child will result in Stadium staff contacting the primary parent prior to release of the child.
Sign out can take place from after the commencement of the program until 5 minutes after the conclusion of the session.
If you are running late, please let the Stadium know via phone 9405 5645. Failure to collect your child within this timeframe may result in financial penalties at the discretion of management.
Please note: If there is an order by a Court, Magistrate or an Officer of the Police Force that exempts a particular individual from having access and/or communication with the child, a copy of the order must be provided to the relevant Sports Program Officer and Team Leader to protect the safety and care of the child.

Allergies / medical information

As part of the registration process you will be prompted to provide any medical / allergen information for your child.
Should your child fall ill while in attendance of the Stadium’s programs, the primary or emergency contact will be contacted immediately using the details provided.

What to pack

Drink bottle
Snacks for scheduled breaks (there is a small kiosk serving drinks and confectionary, but children must be supervised while going to the kiosk)
Please do not pack snacks and food containing nut products
Enclosed footwear (no studded boots or shoes)

Cancellations

You can cancel or reschedule a booking up to 24 hours prior to the start of the booking by contacting the Stadium.
A minimum number of children is required to run each program. Should a program need to be cancelled due to not meeting the required minimum numbers, you will be contacted the day before the program is due to commence or earlier where possible
For all cancellations, please note, we are unable to provide refunds and can only provide a credit to your account.
For cancellations made outside of the 24-hour notice period, a medical certificate will need to be provided to be eligible for a credit.

Incident / behaviour management

If there is an incident involving your child or an emergency, the Stadium will contact the parent/guardian and/or emergency contact as required.
Kingsway Indoor Stadium provides a positive, social and welcoming environment. We understand that an unfamiliar environment may present unusual and uncommon behaviours, our coaching team is there to assist and promote positive behaviours.
Behaviours that are not tolerated include:
- Repeated physical violence, such as hitting, biting, kicking, and throwing toys/equipment at others.
- Repeated verbal abuse such as name calling, swearing and offensive terms.
- Any behaviours that put the child, other children, or individuals at risk.
- Disobedience toward staff directions/instructions which pose a risk to safety.
- Damage to Stadium facilities or property that is intentional and outside the realm of accidental.
Kingsway Indoor Stadium reserves the right to refuse attendance to children and parents who demonstrate intolerable behaviour and pose a risk to themselves, property and/or others.
