Are you a future star?
We’re searching for talented vocalists to perform alongside a 70 piece orchestra in front of a crowd of thousands at our annual Symphony Under the Stars concert!
We want to give you a chance to shine at our crowd-pleasing event on Saturday 22 February 2025.
If you live, work, learn or are involved in a local group or club within the City of Wanneroo, you’re eligible to apply. We welcome applications from people of all ages and with all levels of experience.
Show us your stuff - submit a recording of you performing one of the songs listed below by 5pm on 4 November 2024.
How to apply
- Fill out the Application Form.
- Send an email to events@wanneroo.wa.gov.au and include:
- Your application form.
- A video or a link to a video of you performing one of the approved songs.
- Provide your full name, contact phone number, and information about your eligibility with regards to living, working, learning or being involved with a local group or club within the City of Wanneroo.
- Get your application in by 5pm, Monday 4 November 2024.

Terms and conditions of entry
- The competition is open to individual vocalists only. Groups or musicians are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants must live, work, learn or be involved in a local group within the City of Wanneroo to be eligible to apply. Proof of eligibility will be required.
- Applicants of all ages and with all levels of experience are welcomed.
- The Prize consists of Winners performing at the Symphony Under the Stars event at Kingsway Sporting Complex, Madeley on Saturday 22 February 2025. The parameters of the Winners' performance will be at the discretion of the City of Wanneroo.
- Applicants must be available to perform on both 30 November 2024 (shortlisted applicants only) and Saturday 22 February 2025 (Winners only).
- Applications, including a file/link to a video performance, must be received by email to events@wanneroo.wa.gov.au by 5.00pm A.W.S.T 4 November 2024. No late entries will be accepted.
- Applicants must submit a file/link to a video performance of one of the approved songs, that does not contain any slurs, profanity or discriminating lyrics.
- This competition is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the Winners. The best applicant entries, as determined by the judges, will be shortlisted and shortlisted applicants will be judged the Winners and will win the Prize.
- By entering this competition, you agree to the Terms and Conditions listed above and the general competition Terms and Conditions that apply to all competitions run by the City of Wanneroo.
