Fire and emergency management

Through the provision of information and resources, we aim to improve the long-term resilience of the community to natural hazards including bushfires, storms and other major emergencies.

There are a number of actions that you can take ahead of time to help reduce the impacts of these hazards on those things that we value the most such as our loved ones, our homes, irreplaceable belongings and our sense of community and safety.

We strongly encourage you to plan ahead for emergencies using the information available on our website and through the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.

Stay up to date during emergencies by visiting emergency.wa.gov.au or listening to ABC Radio Perth (720 AM).
