The Wanneroo Regional Gallery is proud to present a collection of works from one of the 20th century's most influential artists, Andy Warhol.
The Andy Warhol works are a long-term loan from the National Gallery of Australia with support from the Australian Government as part of Sharing the National Collection initiative. The partnership will see the Wanneroo Regional Gallery display over 50 artworks by Andy Warhol over a two-year period from March 2024, with a small selection of pieces on display and rotated every three months.
These works will be exhibited in a small section of the Gallery alongside the City’s main exhibition, Mariw Minaral: Alick Tipoti, followed by Terminus: Jess Johnson & Simon Ward.

Songlines, or Dreaming tracks, map the routes of Ancestral beings as they travelled across Australia, creating the land and its people.
Walking through a Songline allows audiences of all ages to immerse themselves in a space where paintings come to life, stories are visualised, and ancient knowledge is shared in a striking and artistic way.
Surrender your understandings of time and space, and experience Indigenous storytelling as this ancient narrative comes alive through new technology.
Accompanying the Walking Through a Songline exhibition, the City also has a series of Seven Sister story works on display, which were kindly loaned from the Kerry Stokes Collection, Janet Holmes á Court Collection and Gilbert George Collection.
