Community Facility Projects - Two Rocks - Breakwater Park new playground

Project description

This project has been funded under the Australian Government’s Local Roads & Community Infrastructure Program – Phase 2. 

This program supports local councils to deliver priority local road and community infrastructure projects across Australia, supporting jobs and the resilience of local economies to help communities bounce back from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The City’s annual New Playground Equipment program is designed to provide all residents with access to play equipment within walking distance. Breakwater Park, Two Rocks now includes:

  • Playground equipment
  • Nature Play elements
  • Shelter and picnic setting
  • Drinking fountain
  • Seating
  • Shade sails
