Community Facility Projects - Landsdale - Dordaak Kepup - Library and Youth Innovation Hub

Project description

The design and construction of Dordaak Kepup; the new Library and Youth Innovation Hub. Dordaak Kepup is a Noongar name meaning “The Place of Living Waters”.

This facility will be sustainable, modern, environmentally considered, and includes:

  • A Library and Youth Innovation Hub
  • Work spaces
  • Study spaces
  • Meeting rooms
  • Multifunction spaces 
  • IT and activated spaces

The overall project budget is $10.45 million; the City is investing $7.2 million towards the project and the State Government WA Recovery Plan is investing $3 million to fund the Youth Innovation Hub.

Construction is anticipated to commence in 2023, with completion in 2024.
