About the position

The City’s Community Safety & Emergency Management (CSEM) team is responsible for the maintenance, management and operation of the City’s CCTV service.  This role will be responsible for supporting the Community Safety Officer who has responsibility for the system.  We are seeking an experienced administrative professional with strong team work, customer service and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise competing tasks. This role is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate & timely administrative support services;
  • Maintaining relevant registers, databases and systems, ensuring that information is accurate & stored correctly; and
  • Monitoring of incoming requests and communication from internal & external customers.

About you

As a collaborative member of the CSEM team, you will deliver accurate and consistent work within an environment that includes changing and competing priorities and tight timeframes.   To be successful in this role, you will be an adaptable and experienced administrative professional, and able to thrive working in a very busy and change driven organisation.  As such, you will be able to demonstrate through your CV and covering letter that you meet the following capabilities:

  • Qualification in a relevant discipline such as Community Safety or relevant experience;
  • Experience in administrative and financial processes;
  • Skilled in the efficient utilisation of information systems and technology; and
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
