Cr Moore was elected as a Councillor for the Central-East Ward in October 2023.
Originally from South Africa, she immigrated to Albany in Western Australia’s Great Southern region with her parents in 2005 before moving to Perth and choosing to make their new home within the City of Wanneroo.
Having previously worked in small and family businesses, helping grow successful enterprises in regional WA and starting her own business in Perth, Cr Moore is passionate about listening to and connecting with the local business community.
She is dedicated to helping make the City an even better place to live and work, and has a particular interest in promoting initiatives that strengthen the community for families in the northern suburbs.
As a resident of the northern growth corridor, Cr Moore understands Wanneroo offers a unique blend of metropolitan and semi-rural living that needs to be protected, which drives her commitment to representing our suburban and semi-rural communities of Carramar, Tapping, Ashby, Jandabup, Pinjar, Mariginiup and Banksia Grove.
Cr Moore is a member of the City’s Audit and Risk Committee, Revenue Review Committee, Community Safety Working Group, Neerabup Industrial Area Working Group and Wanneroo Town Centre Advisory Group.
In her spare time, Cr Moore is involved in a community playgroup that supports mothers and young children.
