Draft Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Strategy 2020/21 – 2025/26

The City of Wanneroo invites public comment on the draft revised Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Strategy (CCAMS).

The City has already taken numerous actions to adapt to the impacts of climate change as well as to mitigate the impacts.

The attached draft revised CCAMS provides updated direction for how the City plans, prepares for and continues to respond to the impacts of climate change including a strengthened approach to what the City can do in terms of mitigation. (See attachment below in Document Library) 

Once finalised, the Strategy along with the actions identified, will be implemented through integration into the City’s Environmental Management System, including ongoing monitoring and re-assessment of risks associated with climate change.
