Proposed Extractive Industry – Limestone and Sand Excavation at 259 Wattle Avenue, Nowergup (DA2023/1379)

Key details of the proposed Extractive Industry are as follows: 

• The proposed duration of extraction is for 20 years.   
• Between 50,000 and 200,000 tonnes of sand and limestone extracted per year.
• Operating hours of 7:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) and 7:00am – 12:00pm Saturdays.
• Vehicle access is proposed to be from Wattle Avenue West and Wattle Avenue East.
• There will be up to 172 movements per day (35 truckloads and 16 employees).
• Vehicles travelling along Wattle Avenue West are restricted to single trailer configurations.
