City of Wanneroo Presents: The Jungle Giants
Published Wednesday, 26th September 2018
With less than a week to go until tickets are released for the City of Wanneroo’s biggest concert of the year, the full line-up is now available.
Joining headliners The Jungle Giants at Wanneroo Showgrounds on 3 November will be Asta, LANKS, Heaps Good Friends and Spacey Jane.
The combination of acts will bring a real festival feel and provide a selection of contemporary Australian music
Asta burst onto airwaves in 2012, as the triple j Unearthed High winner. Asta will bring her up-tempo funk sounds to Wanneroo and is sure to have people up on their feet dancing to her hypnotic beats.
LANKS is the moniker of Australian songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Will Cuming. With a dynamic live show, LANKS plays with a three-piece band and will belt out tunes from his debut album ‘twentyseven’, which was released earlier this year.
Heaps Good Friends have previously toured with The Jungle Giants and are gearing up to release their debut EP next year. Emma, Nick and Dan have a fun, friendly pop sound appealing to all ages.
Local outfit Spacey Jane will deliver drum and guitar heavy pop melodies with memorable choruses, including their latest single ‘Cold Feet’
The family-friendly event promises a night of free entertainment, catering for everyone in the family with brilliant live music and children’s activities.
Pack a picnic or take your pick from some of Perth’s best food trucks.
