Dordaak Kepup - Library and Youth Innovation Hub project


Overview
Dordaak Kepup is a new library and youth innovation hub in Landsdale, set to open in late 2025.
The facility will feature creative spaces like a recording studio, demonstration kitchen and gaming room, and include Noongar signage developed with local Elders and community groups.
The project has been supported by $6 million in funding from the State Government’s WA Recovery Plan to enable the Youth Innovation Hub, an EV Charge Up Grant of $12,046 from the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety and a Lotterywest grant of up to $380,080 to further boost the offerings at the centre.

Where is the funding for the Library and Youth Innovation Hub coming from?
The total project cost is estimated at $18.38 million. The City has received support with $6 million in funding from the State Government’s WA Recovery Plan to enable the Youth Innovation Hub, an EV Charge Up Grant of $12,046 from the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety and a Lotterywest grant of up to $380,080 to further boost the offerings at the centre. The City is investing the remaining funds of the project.
